At LA Health and safety, we understand that being discreet during care home assessments is crucial for maintaining residents dignity, privacy and trust, while also ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Discretion helps avoid unnecessary distress, embarrassment or fear amongst residents, allowing them to feel more comfortable and cooperative during the assessment process. All of our staff have DBS checks annually and we are happy to comply with any requests such as informal clothing, name badges or avoiding certain triggers that may cause distress for the residents. we have the ability to tailor are approach to the individuals needs reducing the risk off unsettling residents.
We can undertake all types of risk assessments, audits and system reviews which will help improve health and safety culture. This will help reduce workplace accidents, improves employee morale and productivity. We understand that some disability’s can impair judgement so things that mat be normally considered safe may present danger. We take the time and effort to understand the individuals disabilities and how this may impact their own safety, and then advise implementations which may reduce the risk of accidents or injuries.
