Personal Exposure Monitoring

Under the COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations, employers are required to assess health risks associated with hazardous substances and demonstrate that control measures effectively reduce personal exposure to safe levels. Our experienced Occupational Hygienists conduct personal exposure monitoring to accurately measure workers’ exposure to airborne hazardous materials in your workplace, ensuring compliance and safeguarding employee health.

Noise Surveys

Exposure to excessive noise can cause temporary hearing issues like ringing or hearing changes, which usually subside after leaving the noisy environment. However, prolonged exposure to loud noise can result in permanent hearing damage, tinnitus, and other serious health problems.
According to the Control of Noise at Work Regulations, employers must assess noise risks whenever employees are exposed to noise levels of 80dB(A) or above. Our Occupational Hygienists perform comprehensive on-site noise surveys to identify risks and recommend effective solutions to eliminate or reduce noise exposure, helping you meet legal requirements and protect your workforce.

Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) Analysis

Thousands of workers suffer ill health annually due to exposure to vibrating tools and equipment. Employers have a legal responsibility to implement measures that control vibration exposure, protecting employee health and improving productivity and equipment lifespan.
In line with COSHH regulations, our Occupational Hygienists provide full Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) analysis services, including on-site vibration level measurements, exposure time recording, and tool categorization by vibration banding. We help you put in place practical control measures to minimise vibration risks and ensure compliance.
